This page reflects local government restructuring proposals for Bedfordshire, Cheshire, Cornwall, Durham, Northumberland, Shropshire & Wiltshire which will be implemented on 1 April 2009. Durham and Northumberland held elections in 2008 under these proposals, and like Cornwall, Shropshire & Wiltshire will become Unitary Authorities; Bedfordshire and Cheshire County Councils will be abolished, each being divided into 2 Unitary Authorities.
Links are to Electoral Change Orders where new division boundaries are being implemented, those marked * make only limited changes in single districts.
