Trailer - Local Elections May 2011

Elections will be held on Thursday 5th May 2011 in 279 English Local Authorities. These numbers are subject to change, as structural reviews are in progress in Devon, Norfolk and Suffolk. A Bill currently before the Scottish Parliament is expected to defer Elections to Scottish Councils until 2012 (thereafter 2017 before returning to a 4-year cycle).

There are also Elections for the Scottish Parliament and the Welsh Assembly.
